The apartment was absolutely First class condition with balcony which was accessible from 2 of the 3 bedrooms and the living area. All 3 of the bedrooms had double beds (we had a 6 bed apartment) and one bedroom had an ensuite. The parking was underground so extremely safe. I need a charger for my camera and the man at reception was extremely helpful by giving me a plug for the usb lead to charge it. Dominos pizza is practically next door so we got pizzas for dinner. We were heading out for new years eve so was great to have a place to party before and after we were out and no one told us to be quiet. We made a cooked breakfast the next morning as centra right across the road. all kicthen amenities and the beds were very comfortable. Would definitely recommend as some of the people I was staying with are already planning another visit!

Room Tip: The other half of our party were in a four bed apartment and the only downside was this was in a sep...

Stayed in the penthouse apartment which had a fantastic few of the city and magee campus. It is ideally situated near great pubs and clubs and take aways. The only problems were that the traffic outside could be heard and the heating never worked properly. Apart from that it was a fantatic apartment to stay in

As with the other reviews i was worried about the place but i worries was knocked out of the ball park when we first arrived.
The receptionist warm welcomed us an was polite. The apartments had great security as well.

The penthouse flat was at the front of the building facing at the Magee campus which was surprisingly a great view when there was frost about. The flat does have a lot of road noise but was easy to sleep threw. The heating wasn't working to it best as i think some of the radiators were air locked but it was still warm enough in the flat. Tv remote does need replaced as you need to hold the battery's in to make it work.

The flat was clean and well organised with cupboards having all that anyone should need. Bathrooms was clean and had clean towels in them but the plug in the shower had green rust which is easy to clean for the.
Beds were comfortable and clean with Slientnight pillows which were great.

Outside the flats was a great takeaway Romeos which was great with portions and price.
Amber bar was a nice styled bar that didn't look like a old man pub. It had a TV behind the bar with sports playing and it also has a pool table in the corner to.

Will definitely be staying again!

I was concerned initially about staying here when reading the other reviews but we had a lovely time. Very warm welcome from the staff who were very helpful. We stayed in a penthouse apartment which was lovely - had everything we needed & was lovely & cosy. Ideal central location & easy to find. I couldnt find a fault during our stay at all - will definately be back.

There have been a few unkind comments in the past, so lets get them out of the way. These are not 5 star apartments, they are around 11 years old (if the electrical inspection stickers are correct) and have had a fairly hard life. Some of the furniture is worn, there's signs of damp here and there, and the wooden floors are lifting a little in places. Water drains slowly from both wash hand basin & shower, so all may not be well.
The heating system gets many comments, mostly negative, and but for discovering a thermostat hidden behind a bookcase, we would have been adding to the list.
The staff we met were helpful and friendly, and explained the heating, to the extent of their knowledge! Service is all you could ask for.
Having got that out of the way, lets talk about location, location, location. Riverside apartment, about 7 or 8 minutes walk from the Guildhall / Peace bridge, with spectacular views along the river in both directions. By the way, a penthouse apartment doesn't mean high up, just the style of the unit.
There's plenty of space, 2 good bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, can handle 4 people with ease. Good size kitchen/dining/living area, well equipped for as much cooking as anyone is likely to do. There's free secure parking in the attached multi storey car park, which means you can load / unload under cover. In any other city in Europe, this unit would cost 2, 3 or 4 times the price, so excellent value.
If we visit again, I'd have no hesitation in staying here.

Room Tip: Ask for a river view, not only for the view, but because they are quieter.

Just returned from a 3 night stay and have to say i was pleasantly surprised having read some of the reviews on here.

The lady checked us in efficiently, she advised us that she was new but she did a great job and was very friendly, we had a room on the 3rd floor - 2 bedrooms which was adequate. As we had an extra child with us we had phoned ahead to request an extra bed which wasn't in the room. Not a massive drama, i simply popped down to reception - and the lady once against politely told me that the maintenance man would bring one up for us shortly which he did within the hour, he failed to bring bed sheets, so a quick trip to reception rectified this.

The rooms were well appointed and the central heating was great! The kitchen extremely clean with dishwasher.

The living room area, slightly tired looking sofa but again it was more than acceptable!

The apartments are on the main road and there was road noise but nothing you wouldn't expect in a city centre location. Across the road was a really nice take away called Romeo's - good choice and with children they were more than happy!

Sainsbury's and Supervalu are about a ten minute walk away with Centra a little closer.

Would recommend Foyle taxis, particularly a chap called Christy, who dropped us back to the airport.
We ate out one evening at the Mandarin which was on the Foyle river just a 5 minute walk away.

When i checked out i realised i was missing one of the children's boarding passes for a Ryanair flight, so rather than get stung with an extra charge i didn't need at the airport (!) The gentleman on reception was really helpful, sympathised with me and offered to print the boarding pass. Really good customer service, which was much appreciated.

I would definately stay again, it was well priced and was within easy access of the city centre.
