Hotel looked good online and was recommended by a local. Centrally enough located to the city and bars/shops/restaurants all within walking distance. Also has a nice view (depending on what side your room is) of the river.
Check in was a bit slow. There were 5 of us checking in and there was only one member of staff attending to us although there were 4 behind the desk. I ended up leaving my suitcase at reception as had to rush of to a meeting and to be fair they did deposit it up to my room.
Room was nice enough, nothing special and bathroom felt a bit dated. Was clean and well presented though.
We ate dinner out at a local restaurant so can not comment on the food as I also missed breakfast although it was included in the rate.
After eating out came back to the hotel around 10pm. It was in full party mode with a wedding reception in one of the function rooms and a singer in the main lounge. Atmosphere was good and the bar staff were polite and service was good
When I went to my room around 11 I was surprised at how loud the noise was still coming from downstairs as I was 4 floors up. I was extremely tired so managed to get to sleep but I could understand this would be cause for complaint as normally I am not sure I would have slept so easily.
