2nd visit to this lovely hidden gem in Derry's craft village confirmed our opinion of our first visit-excellent. Brilliant coffee ,different kinds of tea and delicious fresh food ,all served with efficient and friendly service. Gerrad the friendly and well informed 'foodie' offers his advice on the home cooked ,freshly prepared items on the menu. My husband had the quiche and I one of the best ham/salad gluten free sandwitche's ever. The prices are very fair for such a centrally situated eatery. Discussion of the different types of tea on offer was both informative and intresting.
Home made soups, stew, fresh salad's and great beverages make tis an ideal spot to rest ones feet after a trip around Derry.

Met a friend here for lunch. Really friendly, courteous staff. Very attentive service. Really good home made soup. No complaints. Lovely location and better service than Cafe Delmondo!

Molly's is Ok but I read the reviews on Tripadvisor and was expecting to be wowed, especially as we'd had coffee in Cafe del Mondo round the corner and it was fab with a really nice vibe. The reason we didn't get lunch there was because Molly's had such rave reviews. In the end, the only table big enough to sit 4 of us was inaccessible because a large and quite scary looking guy was taking up so much room on the table next to it. The food when it came was neither bad nor great - one of the orders came out wrong and had to be sent back and we all left wondering what all the fuss was about.

Dear Mighty Shepard,

Thank you very much for your review. All we ask of any of our customers is to tell the truth of their experience or better still to address any issues on the day. Everything we sell is freshly prepared in house using ingredients sourced locally. I am glad that my staff corrected any errors that occurred in your order and that this was carried out without delay. I must say this All our customers deserve respect from us and our clients. If a gentleman is large and as you suggest scary looking he has the absolute same right for us to treat him no different from any other person spending their money in our Cafe. I could not ever find it in my heart correct, to apologise to anyone for the appearance of a customer. However, if a customer is creating an obstruction and we have not addressed this then I do apologise unreservedly for this issue not being addressed immediately. We are a small family business and all we can do is our best. I am delighted that you enjoyed the vibe at Cafe Del Mondo who are our great friends and trust you will come back to the Craft Village on your return to Derry.
