Having sampled their food at a marque during one of the many open air events in Derry we booked a meal at Browns having passed the very impressive restaurant. We were treated as VIPs all evening. The staff are highly trained and work both individually and as part of highly skilled team each having a separate role to ensure customers receive first class service and exceptional meal at an exceptional price of £20 for early bird. The restaurant also has a welcoming calender booklet featuring events menus evenings that you can book to treat yourself or as a gift

Took husband and fussy non meat eating daughter ( an excellent cook herself) here on Father's Day for an early evening meal. We had been there before and enjoyed it so were waiting for her views. Happily she absolutely loved it and said she wished she had a restaurant of that type and quality near where she now lives. We both had the halibut and my husband had steak. All perfectly cooked and delicious. Desserts were outstanding. Well done to Browns in the Town (although I still love Browns on the Waterside a lot!)

We ate in Browns in Town on 19th June on recommendation of a friend and both agreed it was the best food that we had eaten on our trip. The service was really good with friendly waiting staff and the price didn't break the bank. We'll will be back.

Traveling through to Donegal - we stopped here for an early Sunday dinner - helpful staff, a small but varied enough menu, prompt service, well prepared and delightful food - and £50 for the two of us (one glass of wine). We left satisfied - and not overly full. Perfect. If this was in London it would have been £££ more.

Service was good, waitress was very pleasant, food didn't live up to my expectations. Amuse Boucher was nice touch before the mains. Food wasn't hot, potatoes were flavourless, Guinness ice cream was not available, disappointed in the meal, it was our anniversary on the night, no whoa factor here.
