We really enjoyed our stay in Serendipity House. Good rooms and a tasty breakfast. Very helpful host who helped us with maps and recommended us what to see, and where to eat. A good place from where to investigate very interesting Derry.

This was a wonderful place to stay! The bed was comfortable and breakfast was delicious! But the view was incredible! We had a room overlooking the city walls and cathedrial. It was a real treat to go to sleep and wake up looking at such a remarkable view!

I booked a double room (room 5) for three nights for single use, but was allocated room 4 instead, which I think is a smaller room. The shower room in particular was tiny and probably best suited to a single traveller than a couple. Having said that the room was clean and tidy, the bed very comfortable and the whole place very quiet and clean. The shower is also modern and very good.
The continental breakfast was excellent, very fresh and so much choice. The location is ideal, only about 5 minutes' walk to the centre of town, but on a very quiet residential road.
The manager and other staff were very friendly and ready to help. I would definitely stay there again.

The room I booked is for Angel House, however when I arrived tthe lady brough me over to cross the road few door away to a dated place called Serendipity House.the room is nowhere like the picture I saw when I booked. the private bathrrom is outside the room downstairs, bed is very old and unconfortable. There was a broken hair dryer in the room. the worst thing is the room lock doesn't work,I locked the room from inside at night, I got locked in.It wont open from inside. What a hell place!!!

My son and I were on a fantastic tour of Ireland for 6 days with Paddywagon Tours-- stayed in B & Bs all over Ireland. Serendipity House was by far the best one! Enjoyed the modern, comfortable and clean atmosphere of this B & B. The view of Derry from this spot is exceptional and the Stephen, the manager was extremely friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was delicious with an incredible array of fresh baked goods, local pate and charcuterie, fresh fruit, and a hot breakfast option. If you're lucky enough to be planning a trip to fascinating Derry; I highly recommend a stay at Serendipity House!

Room Tip: Ask for a room that overlooks Derry.

This was the best B&B I have ever stayed in. I stayed n room 5, a cosy room with fantastic views of Derry that was so homely that I almost didn't want to leave it to explore the city. The manager was extremely friendly and helpful and I cannot praise this accommodation enough.

Room Tip: Room 5 has excellent views.
