The location of this hotel is obviously a huge plus when travelling by train, but not when travelling by car.
My bathroom had a few stray hairs in the bath which nobody seemed bothered about. But the bed was comfortable, the tv and internet worked.
The buffet breakfast was not of very high quality, the eggs were horribly overdone and the jam tasted only of sugar. A steak dinner was overdone, but the mussels had a wonderful sauce.
The service of the front office staff though was very good and there was always someone there if you needed to speak to someone.
My room overlooked the bus station and it was unbearably loud, so make sure you don't get such a room.

Room Tip: NOT overlooking the bus station

Dear reviewer,

Thank you for taking the time to write a review regarding your recent stay with us at the Jurys Inn Aberdeen, I was happy to read your comments regarding the mussels and the front office team and I have passed them on to them.

I was disappointed however to read your comments regarding the certain food items and the housekeeping issues. I will personally take these up with the relevant heads of department to ensure that such instances do not occur again.

Please do let me know when you are looking to return to the Jurys Inn Aberdeen and I will personally look after your booking and ensure that your room is allocated in advance. Thank you once again for your comments.

Kind regards,
Philip Rankin.

Situated on top of the best shoppingcenter and neighbour to Aberdeen Bus/Railwaystation. You can't get a better location for a weekend getaway :-) Nice and clean rooms with great vent/AC system. Friendly staff. We did not eat there. Highly recomended!

Rip off aberdeen at its best. A basic room I would value at no more than £60 per night. As usual aberdeen doesnt fail to rip off its bussiness customers. Had no choice but to pay because of a short notice meeting and guess what? All the normally priced rooms are booked . Disgraceful.

Stayed here in May 2012 on a business trip.

Centrally located hotel, right in the middle of the shopping centre. So if you don't fancy dining in the restaurant, there is plenty of choice within 100 yards of the hotel. I ate in the hotel and had a good steak. Rooms large, clean and comfortable.

Only difficulty sometimes is getting cabs. As the hotel is next to the train station, a lot of booked cabs just pick up people from the station even if they are booked. I was warned of this by the hotel staff, so booked a cab a little earlier than I had planned, just in case.

Decent hotel for business or could be used as a base to explore Aberdeen.

The Jury's Inn is a simple clean hotel - and it works. It has a good location, nice staff at check in and it is very new which means it is functional and does not appear dated as many other Aberdeen properties do.
I would not recommend eating in the restaurant, you have the Union Sq shopping center just outside and there is plenty of variety there.
In general I try to stay here when in Aberdeen, good central location to get to most locations. Takes around 20-30 mins to the aiport most times of the day.

Nice and clean hotel with friendly staff. Good breakfast with fresh fruits in addition to the normal continental food. Centrally located, close to Union Street. Some traffic noise if you like to sleep with the windows open.

I stayed in this hotel during the All Energy exhibition, the hotel is fine, i would say slighty difficult to find the reception, i came off the train and headed outside, walked round the building, passing 2 other woman with cases so they couldnt find the entrance either, eventually headed back into the centre and found a small sign to go up the escallator to the reception.
Bed room was fine, 3rd floor, no view as I overlooked the Aircon plant
Breakfast was ok the area they use is the end of a corridor so I didnt find it particularly comfortable. food was ok, porrage was luke-warm even at 6.30am!
Wifi was available in the bar & restaurant - you needed a code which was a pain, you receive a "free" 1hr code on check-in
Good location, sort out the signage and get a grip with giving free wifi in the rooms

Room Tip: ask for a high floor
