Very central. Very fast lifts. Excellent carp park underneath the hotel, BUT it's nothing to do with the hotel apparently, it's NCP, so expect around £6 charge to park from 5pm to 7am or so. The only Other downside was breakfast. Very undercooked bacon and sausage, and the nail in the coffin was having to pay extra for it over and above my £150 a night room, over 4 nights! This was a standard room :/ a big plus here is the wetherspoons directly opposite, cheap beer and food if you should need it. I'd stay again, but only if my company continue to pay the bill.

I use this hotel very frequently when staying in Aberdeen. It is very central and in a nice quiet location just off Aberdeens main street.

Would recommend for business stay. Breakfast is excellent.

Room Tip: Ask for a room towards the back.

I stayed here 2 nights - I would not recommend this hotel -if you hate air con units - do not go this hotel - despite turning the aircon off as soon as I walked in -it droned on and on. Incidentally the unit is the only source of temperature control - there are no radiators. The 2 vents in the ceiling above the door droned on all night - it sounded like a loo permanently flushing. I actually phoned for someone to come to hear it and to see if the aircon unit could be faulty - a female receptionist called to the room - knew nothing about the aircon or how it worked but would ask the handyman to check it in the morning and let me know - she did offer for me to sleep in another room - however at 11pm this was not an option for me. Nobody ever did get back to me about the aircon. The sensor for the fire sprinkler is in the middle of the ceiling above the bed - it has a red light that flashes every second - nightmare in the dark when trying to get to sleep - combined with the aircon droning - it was hell. Despite claims for cleanliness from other trip advisers my room (514) was not clean -there was dried in food on the bedside cabinet unit and the floor needed hoovering, the worktop around the sink was very badly stained with ringmarks. The "bed" was 2 single beds pushed together and they were extrememly hard and uncomfortable. The lighting was dim and the shower had very poor power. The dressing table is the smae idea as Travel Lodge - sparse wooden unit fitted to the wall but you do have glitzy stainless steel sockets for your laptop! Wow! Breakfast was a farce - the bread was "frozen solid" and residents fingered all the bread sitting in an open basket to find "unfrozen" slices - the toasting machine turned everything black anyway - the sausages were tasteless and the scrambled egg had a pink tinge to it.I did try to get myself other accomodation in the city centre intedning to check out but Aberdeen is poor for hotels - and XFACTOR shows meant others were fully booked - so I had to endure a second night.chek out On my 2nd morning I decided to avoid cooked food and opted for the healthy option of cornflakes- but the milk flagons were empty - had to wait to get milk and then had a further 15 minute wait before I managed to grab a waiter's attention to get my pot of tea - he forgot about it - it was delivered a further 5 minutes later. Better save your money and use the basic but clean - does what it says on the tine Travel Lodge next door - and you get a quiet room - no droning of unhygenic aircon units. Very disappointing, very basic with an odd frill here and there - like pictures of Johnny Cash and Marilyn Munro at the lifts! Avoid if you can - I won't be back.

Room Tip: Take rooms away from lift shaft and air con units - in the middle of the building and middle of corr...

The Park Inn has good-sized, scrupulously clean, good-looking and very comfortable rooms that provide everything you need and are quiet - particularly those at the back of the hotel. Even shrill Aberdonian sea gulls can barely be heard. The staff are helpful and welcoming, anxious to ensure your stay is good. The excellent buffet breakfast is tasty, fresh, with a wide selection and is frequently replenished. My boiled eggs were cooked precisely as I like them and the waitress made me an excellent cappuccino. You may need to ask for such variations from the buffet but the staff produce them quickly and happily. The hotel is conveniently located for Union Street and has an Aberdeen City car park even more conveniently located underneath to which there is direct pedestrian access when you are exiting the hotel. These standards have been maintained every time we have visited. We will stay here again and recommend this hotel highly.

Room Tip: Sound insulation in the hotel is very good but the rooms at the back ensure that any street noise...

Very comfy rooms with everything you need provided. It is very convenient for the main shops and attractions. The breakfast was good with a wide choice available and the evening meal was one of the best I have had for a long time (the best calamari ever). Staff were very friendly and helpfull. The girl at the reception gave us a map of the area without prompting. We would definately return.
