The rooms were very clean, very roomy bed with a fantastic mattress, separate bath and shower cubicle, very helpful friendly staff. Had a fabulous stay and would give this hotel 10/10. The location is perfect, a short walk from the train station and very close to the shops/restaurants etc. We never ate there but friends who were there said it was the best breakfast they had had in a hotel.

I recently stop at the hotel with my girlfriend for her birthday weekend, lovely hotel very clean room and very helpful staff. Amazing cocktails made by (Victor) will definitely be back. Only down fall is the parking not very much for a hotel that size. But all together a lovley hotel.

Lovely Clean Hotel. Central. We stayed on a weekend when attending "Ghost" at HM Theatre. If you are going for a theatre break, ensure you book your pre-theatre meal early. A few of the restaurants nearby had a 6 week waiting list for a Saturday. Nick Nairns restaurant within the hotel is extremely expensive. But on the flip side there is a "pantry" near reception where you can buy a frozen ready meal and heat in the Pantry Microwave... good concept.

The location just a couple blocks off Union Street is hard to beat. Hotel qualify was exactly as I'd come to expect from HGI. I didn't try the restaurant but was told it was excellent. The pantry is always nice for 1-2 small items. Gym was nice but in the basement so no windows.

Great location, secure car park, breakfast included in the price. Room facilities are great as you also get a fridge for your own use (not stalked and charged a ridiculous price) so you can keep your own beer and wine chilled. The room also has a safe which is free of charge as well. Flatscreen TV, Wifi, Ethernet cable, large bed, bathroom very modern with nice clean facilities. Friendly, helpful staff and cooked buffet breakfast. Excellent and highly recommended

I generally don’t like Hilton hotels, or staying in Aberdeen, both of which I’ve had really bad experiences with. However, this hotel has turned that around.

Lovely comfortable rooms with plenty of space, separate bath/shower and a small internal hallway between the bedroom and bathroom increasing the feeling of space and privacy. Had some of the options from the restaurant menu as nightime room service which were excellent too. Really good selection of wines on the room service menu. The hotel even brought me up fruit purees so that I could mix my own bellinis.

All of the staff that I had contact with were great, everybody was really friendly and pleasant. The hotel seemed to have made an exceptionally nice effort for me after mentioning I didn’t expect to see my boyfriend again for some time after this visit. They really kindly upgraded us to a king room and on arriving I found that they’d laid the bed with rose petals, a heart shape and chocolates for us, which was unexpected and extremely nice. That in itself has made me feel the service at this hotel is fantastic and well personalised considering its a fairly large place. Everybody seemed to make an extra effort to make everything nice for us.

12pm checkout rather than 11 which I always appreciate on a weekend.

Only negative about this hotel was that the breakfast seemed confusing and disorganised. It was a little disappointing given that the restaurant had a celebrity endorsement as this was of buffet style rather than made fresh to order. The buffet was made worse because basic items such as bacon and hash browns weren’t available and items were poorly laid out causing confusion. E.g. the orange juice is in the middle of the hot/cold food options rather than beside the hot drinks/milk options. Also, sauces are provided at the start of the breakfast queue where plates are provided rather than at the end, so people cut back through the queue to the start again disrupting service flow. Side plates for continental items are provided at the other side of the buffet beside the hot items, rather than beside the items they are intended for, again causing people to look around confused for the things they need and then cut through separate queues to get them. It just seemed completely random, without thought for how customers would move around the area. However, the quality of the breakfast items was quite good and there was a good choice including hot/continental and fresh made waffles or items from the menu. - The hotel also kindly refunded my partner’s breakfast as he was too tired to come down, so I don’t have any particular complaint on this, just that the items should be better placed around the available space to make things clearer and more easy to navigate.

I’d consider this to be the best hotel choice in Aberdeen and would rate over any other hotel in Aberdeen or the surrounding area.

Stayed here for the week on business, check in was straight forward. The 2 lifts to the rooms do not require swiping with you door key to be operated.
I stayed in room 605, the bathroom has a separate shower stall to the bath itself. The bath is slow to fill taking about 13 minutes utilising the hot tap only.
The bed has controls on the side of the mattress to adjust the firmness of mattress which worked well. Abdereen in winter is a windy city and while the room was warm and free of draughts the window ventilation was loose and consequently howled on and off overnight.
In the restruant, breakfast is a self service buffet and met all my requirements. In the evening I found the menu to be limited and overpriced the only poor factor of my stay.
