Stayed here with my wife a few days ago after booking directly through Hilton. Asked for a quiet room, away from the kitchens with an early check-in (as arriving on an early morning flight), and was half expecting the receptionist to say " Sorry, wasnt aware of that" - but very pleased to say that after the warm welcome, all three requests were met. - Well done Hilton ! Good sized room and my wife was happy to see a proper hairdryer in the room, rather than the ones with the power of a gnats breath, as well as a decent supply of tea and coffee. The beds (twin) were really comfy and we probably had the best nights sleep for a while. Some may find the aircon noise a little intrusive.
The location is ok - (current Google maps shows building works which are long finished), being a 1 minute walk from John Lewis, and a couple of shopping centres a bit further one (again within 5-10 mins). Within 10 mins you can be in the cafes/ restauarants / bars of Belmont Rd pedestrian area.
We hadnt pre-booked breakfast, but changed our mind in the morning as we had a long day - with travel ahead. Mistake. The hotel offers a selection of cereals / meats / cheeses / fruit etc on a buffet basis. Unfortunately the same was true with the 'cooked breakfast' items, which consequently were all lukewarm. The water from the urns for hot drinks were also similarly cool.
For a hotel in Hilton group - I think that that least they could do was cook breakfasts to order: The chef / cook is there anyway.
We complained, the Reception staff were very understanding and we had this deducted from the bill.
But to repeat, we would definitely stay here again.

Room Tip: Rooms at the back to face a residential block opposite, but it was very quiet.

After a lot of looking around this looked the best value and at the summer sale price was just an opportunity that couldn't be missed. Excellent room and a great nights sleep as its separated at the end of the corridor. Room 501 was mine. Two great sized TVs, one in the living room and the other in the bedroom with a good range of channels. Both wireless and wired internet free in the room and running a decent speed. Receptionists extremely helpful with anything I needed. Sofa bed in the living room with extra duvet and pillows if required. Bathroom is superb as well offering a large shower and a separate bath. Definitely recommend this hotel and especially this room to anyone looking for a great place to stay. Didn't use the restaurant and the bar so can't comment on the food or drink.

Very well situated; close to city main attractions. A bit compact for my liking (limited in space). I have stayed a couple of times in this hotel, both were short; one or two nights maximum. For a longer stay, I would rather stay in a more spaceous hotel; with large lobby area and more opportunities for people to interact.

Short walk to Union St. Very close to two shopping malls. Lovely hotel, great staff from Marta Anne on reception , Vicky in the restaurant , cheery barman and great, helpful breakfast staff. We felt very welcome and valued as guests. The room was on the small side but perfect.Good toiletries, hairdryer, iron and board. Hey what's with the Tunnocks wafers photos? We didn't even get a biscuit (minor complaint lol). We had a fridge and safe. The twin beds were much bigger than in most hotels and the duvet was fabulous . Love to buy an identical one. Big flat screen t.v. Good size bath and lovely shower. Wifi connection was a bit intermittant and I often connected through my iPhone personal hotspot. Although the hotel was on a fairly busy road I didn't hear a sound during the night and had a great sleep both nights. Even the seagulls in Aberdeen seem to have a lie in as I wasn't wakened at 4a.m. by them like at home. The room was very clean but unusually the windows were very dirty. Surprising. I liked the very early housekeeping and management checked the room had been cleaned satisfactorily both days. Very thorough. We ate in Nick Nairn's restaurant , very nice. The breakfast was fabulous. Loved the waffle maker and the waffles were delicious. The hash browns were cold but the waitress took them away and returned them piping hot.I asked about a vegetarian sausage and they were available on the second day and very tasty. Finally we were given a two hour extension on check out at no extra charge unlike The George in Edinburgh which asks for £10 an hour. Just greedy. Loved this hotel and can't wait to return Aberdeen is a lovely city. I found the locals very friendly.

Room Tip: Our room was on the second floor and close to the lift but no noise disturbance at all.

I stayed at the Garden Inn Aberdeen for 3 nights. The hotel was very helpful as there was a mix up with my booking which I made through a booking agent. The staff were so nice and friendly and the room was very spacious with a large bathroom very modern. The location is ideal as the city centre was literally round the next corner. The buffet breakfast was excellent I would recommend this hotel for a city break. There is also underground parking for hotel residents although there is an £8 a night charge but you can rest assured your car is safe within the security gates. I would use this hotel again.

Room Tip: A high floor gives a lovely view

Hotel is new, and the rooms are large and decorated really nicely, check in was quick and friendly. The location is great for the walk in to the city centre but it still is the slightly dodgy part of the city, but don't let that put you off! Would stay here again.

Ideal location close to city centre, good, quiet hotel. Far superior to Tree Tops, a sister hotel a few miles away. Would not hesitate to stay again. Weather could have been better, but hotel was great.
