Hard to find a reasonably priced hotel in Aberdeen which is decent. And I have to say, Ibis was spot on. Very happy with the accomodation and the breakfast in the morning! Will be going back next time I am in Aberdeen and very much look forward to staying there again.

I have stayed here twice now with similar results, hotel is clean with reasonable size rooms. Free WIFI in the room made catching up on work that bit easier. Staff were friendly and very helpful. I would stay here again.

A basic no frills hotel. Very clean and well maintained. Good value for money. I stayed recently with a friend whilst up in Aberdeen for a golf trip and found the room for two of us a bit on the small side. I didn't like the fact that the two beds were pushed together. I moved mine but that meant my head was literally right under a light fitting. For some reason we had a room with a disabled bathroom which whilst not the end of the world was a bit irritating. Breakfast was pretty reasonable. NCP car park right next door which is very useful. All in all if all you need is a bed for a night or two then this is fine.

I stayed here while on a course in Aberdeen for 4 nights. The rooms were big enough for me, they were very clean and the beds very comfortable. For once I never heard the seagulls outside, which in Aberdeen are the loudest in the world. I did hear the music from the exercise classes at the gym below, which is open 24/7. That was slightly irritating. The hotel is centrally located and right across from the maritime museum, with a cinema at the top of the street.
The wifi is excellent too.
I never had any meals here except breakfast. There was a good choice for breakfast however my only issue is that the plates were the size of side plates, no good for a hungry scotsman.

Parking here was an issue. You can park in the car park next door at the discounted rate of £10 a night, or the NCP at Union Square for £15 a night, I didn`t do either.
If you are away before 7am you can park on the street outside the hotel between 7pm and 7 am, or 10pm and 7am, but the police pass at 7am sharp to issue tickets.
I parked a five minute walk away in Palmerston Road and Stell Road next to Union Square on the advice of mates that parked there before.
Its free and I was there for 4 nights and parked up at 4pm until 8am each time, along with hundreds of other cars. The area is covered by businesses CCTV so the cars are fine, apart from the seagulls bombing them.

I would recommend staying here, particularly if you travel by train and bus as its right next to the station.

Room Tip: Try to get a room that isn`t above the gym. The music from classes can be quite loud.
