I stayed at the Ibis hotel in Aberdeen last Sunday and was very impressed with the room and service I received for the phenomenal value of only £56 for the night.
This was almost half the price I paid for staying at the Jury's Inn just a 5 minute walk away the last time I visited Aberdeen and truth be told the Ibis was exceptionally better.
I stayed in room 210 and it was exceptionally clean with modern furnishings. I'm not sure if the room had just been refurbished? Everything seemed so new!
The bathroom had no bath but a brilliant, powerfull shower which could be set to any temperature you wanted. The flatscreen TV on the wall facing the bed had all your freeview channels available free of charge and extra movie/tv packages available if you fancied that.
The hotel also has free wifi access throughout.
The reception staff were all very polite and helpfull and even provided me with a phone charger which I had forgot for a £5 deposit which I got back upon returning it.
Location wise the hotel is perfect, 5 minute walk to the main shopping center, bus/train station and just down the street from the vue cinema.
Will definitely stay here if I'm ever back in Aberdeen!More
