“great place to discover Aberdeen's fishing and oil history”
Reviewed 8 June 2014

the kids especially liked the pretend ROVs that allow you to be fixing a pipe under water! I think the model oil platform is great to understand how it works and how huge it is really!
nice display of old pictures, drawings, tools and everyday ustnesils in the marine

“great place, well worth a visit”
Reviewed 7 June 2014

Visited over 20 years ago, and was really impressed at the improvements that have been made. Much more interactive, loads to see, and loved the 'Torry Times'. It was great to see youngsters getting involved, and finding out about history. Didn't get a chance to try the coffee shop as we spent so long looking at films and pictures. Central location for visitors. And it is FREE!

“Must-see for all first-time tourists”
Reviewed 5 June 2014

It's an undeniable part of our heritage hear in Aberdeen, the Granite City. I brought a visiting friend here and she was positively impressed. Exhibits are well worn and loved, but they are sprucing them up in time for Scotland's Year of Homecoming 2014!

“Nice little stop on a rainy day”
Reviewed 5 June 2014

Standard stop whenever we come to Aberdeen and it rains, once the shopping is exhausted!! there is a lot of interesting displays and information on the oil industry including a scale model of an oil rig which I learnt a lot from - never mind the kids!!
