How very nice that one of Britain's music halls has been retained, and maintained so very well. Immaculately in fact. The stalls seating is removable, but quite comfortable, presumably to allow for a multitude of uses, and the wrap around circle, which we did not visit, looked great from where we were sitting.

We went to see the Hollies. Only two of the originals left, both of whom were more than good, and the other musicians and vocalist were really first class.

There is a very good pre-concert and interval bar to enjoy as well.

All in all a great evening out for Aberdonians and visitors, like us, to enjoy.

Its not the most comfortable of seating, but we were there for a Dublin Legends concert (some of The Dubliners) so it was small enough to feel like a good folk club. Even though it is an old building, the sound quality was good, the ambience was nice, and my hubby tells me the bar was excellent. The ladies loo facilities at the end of the night were under a bit of pressure, but I suppose that was to be expected. Staff friendly and helpful

This was our first visit to the music hall its a lovely old building with character. our seats were upstairs at the very back so couldn't hear very well. There was a vent underneath our seat that cold air and an awful smell came out of all through the show that spoiled the night

This music hall is in the centre of the city. It is the sweetest music hall I have been to. We went to see Nicola Benedetti and sat upstairs at the back, but that did not take away any of the experience. It is a beautiful old building, lovingly restored and going there feels like a good night out.

Visiting relatives in Aberdeen. Arrived from Stockport (where JM is from) and really enjoyed the intimate setting of the Music Hall. Jason Manford was very funny and was on stage over 2 hours. As usual it is hard to remember many of the jokes but he was definitely worth watching. We watched from the Balcony where you can easily see the stage and enjoy the surroundings. I found the seat comfortable enough but my husband thought it was a little uncomfortable due to the height of the chair back. The front of the balcony was reasonable with the front row not having to lean forward. Didn't go to the bar but people next to us went in the interval and were back with plenty of time to spare. Bought ice cream for £1.50 a tub which is much cheaper than Manchester prices. The tickets had to picked up at the ticket office and the lady with the dark hair was extremely helpful. It is a very good venue as there are so many eating places close by, though on a theatre night it might be worth booking as they were busy (even on a mid-week night).
