We used to take the kids here when they were younger and they even cycled on the beach. The beach is reached by parking in a reasonably priced car park with toilet facilities and walking through the dunes. Close to the car park are picnic tables and a safe childrens play area. The beach is stunning and if warmer would be mobbed with holidaymakers but as it is it is far enough from Aberdeen to be the preserve of a few people only mainly dog walkers. Had the joy to see well groomed horses enjoying a canter with their riders. Climbing in the dunes is good and good exercise too. The beach stretches for miles and you can easily spend a couple of quality hours here topping up on fresh oxygen, love it
