Lovely cliff top walks with great views. You can look down into enclosed coves with many seabirds. There is car parking. Small children need to be supervised as there is no fencing.

It makes for a beautiful walk along the coastline, as well as for photos of the interesting rock formations formed by the collapsed sea cave. We had some difficulty finding where to park, but after asking one of the locals we were directed to the nearest parking area. It was about 15 minutes to walk to the cave. I would be careful with bringing small children though as the area near the cliffs are dangerous. Castle ruins lie immediately next to the Bullers but it was closed off (although I did see some people hopping over the fence). We went in September and it wasn't terribly cold. This is definitely a great way to spend a day in Aberdeen.

Bullers of Buchan, a great place to visit. This is one of the best examples to show how beautiful the nature is!! Mind-blowing views and cliff walks. The cave is just amazing and one could have a relaxed mind by those spectacular views. I would add this place to the bucket list. We visited in October and the weather was awesome to visit such a place. We left the place fully satisfied and filled :)

This is undeniably a beautiful bit of coastline, with impressive cliffs, rocky crags and spectacular views out to sea with the chance of spotting lots of wildlife. Of course, the arched entrance to the enclosed cove, which is thought to be a collapsed cave, is the real highlight here.

It's only a short walk from the car park past a quaint fishing hamlet and along some narrow paths perilously close to the precipice. If you want, you can continue your walk to other interesting spots such as nature reserves or ruins a few kilometres up and down the coast.

We went in the summer and the smell left by the numerous sea birds was quite overpowering at times. It's a nice spot, but there are actually many other similar bits of coastline around Aberdeenshire and Moray that are comparable to it.

Enjoyed a few hours viewing the comings and goings of puffins on the cliff faces. A lady we met leaving the carpark was extatic at having seen the puffins. as she had travelled around different parts of the UK without seeing any. Apart from the puffins breeding colonies of a variety of seabirds can be seen, but remember the binoculars for close up views. Also a variety of wildflowers and land birds on the cliff walk.
A very enjoyable day out.
