This is one of the few places in Aberdeenshire where you can see puffins close up. The walk along some parts of the cliff tops is a bit precarious - avoid getting close to the edge if you are unsteady on your feet or the grass is wet. However, if you are OK to get yourself to one of the small headlands you will be able to find puffins and other seabirds at reasonably close range. the best time of year to see puffins and other seabirds is between April and July.
