This can be found at the bottom of Polmuir Road in Aberdeen. We went with our grandson on a wet Saturday afternoon and thoroughly enjoyed the visit through the different areas including the Tropical House, Fern House, Victorian Corridor, and Arid House full of Cacti and succulents.
There was a wedding on so the Temperate House was closed. So many interesting sights to see including a good fish pond well stocked with large fish interesting for an under two year old.
Good toilet facilities available as well as parking. In addition a good swing park with modern well looked after equipment.
The cafe was open as well and is being refurbished and modernised but we did not visit as it was closing shortly.
A really pleasant experience for everyone.

Thank George B

Toddlers will particularly like the talking cactus Spike and the terrapins. There's also a large plastic frog who rises from one of the ponds - kids love it!
There's plenty for grown ups too wether your interested in plants or not it's definitely worth a visit.

It's nice for a visit. Has a great selection of cactuses has a cafe but does not have a great selection of lunch time food this could be improved greatly it's also great for taking young kids more so if the weather is bad
