Ate at The Granite Park at the weekend with my wife. Greeted as soon as we walked through the door, and found the service to be very attentive for the duration of our visit (it was fairly quiet).

I had the Salmon to start, followed by the Halibut, and still had room for the Warm Chocolate Fondant, which wrapped things up very nicely. All three courses were prepared to a very high standard and tasted fantastic. Complimentary homemade bread was also brilliant.

Great restaurant, and I love the fact that the portions are of a reasonable size that allows you to try a starter, main and dessert and not feel completely 'stuffed'. Very apparent that they are passionate about producing good food...... prepared, presented and served very professionally.

Safe to say we will return. Keep up the good work.

Went for Sunday lunch, two courses for £15. What a waste of money – shockingly bad food. How difficult is it do a burger and chips! The burger tasted like it was a frozen cheap mass-produced patty, the chips (potato wedges) soggy and tasted of rancid oil – totally inedible. Rest of dishes were not much better. Not good value for money.

A wonderful space, light, airy, warm and welcoming with original features. Smart staff and attentive service, but not overwhelming.
Attention to detail with thick linen napkins, decent wine glasses and lovely champagne flutes.
Starters were beautifully presented and well cooked with lots of flavour. Seared scallops, golden and a decent portion with a tasty pea puree, super home made mustard and herb rolls, delicious poached pear, just tender, spiced and deep yellow with a quenelle of soft seasoned goats cheese and a tangy syrup.
Main course I opted for the vegetarian gnocci, modern twist being pan fried rather than poached with a medly of fresh, al dente asparagus tips and baby leeks, very summery and tasty. The fish dishes ordered by the rest of the table looked equally well presented and were full of flavour and of a decent portion.
We declined sweet but the espresso coffee was hot, strong and served in a little designer cup and accompanied by hand made white chocolate and champagne chocolates enough for all of us even though we didn't all order coffee!
Unfortunately the menu only changes seasonally, but we were told they may introduce some specials over the coming weeks to add a little variety for repeat visitors.
We will definitely be back soon. In my opinion this is one of Aberdeens finest places if you are looking for quality and something a little special. I am so often disappointed with Aberdeens cuisine but not here.
If I had to find one criticism, I would only say that maybe some light jazz or classical music would have been more in keeping with the venue than Amy Winehouse!
Top notch!

Perfect sophisticated venue for a 30th birthday girls celebration. Pre dinner drinks in miros bar was a great start to the evening.

Table was beautifully set
Fizz was flowing
Service was first class
Food and wine was excellent, the Fillet steak was one of the best I have ever had
Dessert that followed was delicious, coffee panacotta and fondant were the favourites
Epic finish was a decorated plate for the birthday girl

We all can't wait to go back!!

First visit here after a friend recommended it and we were not disappointed. The restaurant is great. The food was excellent. Starters looked and tasted great. The Fillet steak mains were a great size, not small like some places, cooked perfectly for us and accompanied with great big whips/wedges, so we felt they justified the prices.

After our meal we wanted to go downstairs to the bar for cocktails so our waitress went down ahead of us and reserved a table in the bar. This was a great touch and we spent the rest of the night there!

Great atmosphere in both the restaurant and the bar. Bar was not too loud so we were able to continue our conversations.

We will be back and wouldn't hesitate to recommend.
