This hotel is in the 'middle of nowhere'. It's a no service hotel as there is only a vending machine, so if you want to eat, better have some walking shoes (local offering not that good).

Rooms very basic, sorta clean (bathroom could have done with a good dust).

It's located on a very busy dual carriageway and directly under the flight path... this makes it very noisy, the double glazing does a great job, but don't open the window if it gets hot, or you want some air.

Probably the worst thing is its VERY expensive, we paid upto £137/night... and you get no service and average cleaning (room didn't get restocked with tea/coffee with).

For this price there are ALOT better hotels with service. If you're off to the airport, its a taxi journey, so find somewhere better - you won't be out of pocket.

Stayed for 3 nights during which time litter in corridor and mud on stairs was not cleaned. Barking off-lead dog in corridor out of control. Room not particularly clean dog hairs, bin not emptied, dirty.

Stayed here for one night with friends for the bargain price of £29. At that price I wasn't expecting much so it is safe to say my expectations were exceeded! The rooms was large, clean and comfortable with a nice bathroom and powerful shower (I can't stand a weak shower!) and I had a great nights sleep. The only downside was that I could hear my next door neighbour having an argument over the phone however soon managed to drown him out with my music. There is also free parking and a restaurant and a McDonalds next door to pick up a snack which was handy.

Overall, I was really impressed and would definitely use it again!

The title just about sums the place up. Bucksburn is in no man's land halfway between Aberdeen airport and the city centre. The room and bed were comfortable enough although like many hotels/inns the room was hot. I turned the heater off on arrival and opened the windows although due to the Travelodge's proximity to the (busy) road the place is noisy. The room was clean. I believe the place has recently been refurbed but as it's well used, primarily by offshore workers, it won't be long before it's looking tatty.
The bathroom was OK, plenty of towels but only 3 small bars of soap and no shower gel.
The person they had on the check-in desk needs to be taught how to deal with and interact with the public. Laconic, offhand and generally irritating.
While there was a kettle in the room and a vending machine at reception there's nothing else in the Travelodge. Breakfast can be preordered and consists of a box of preprepared 'things'.
Big problem with accommodation availability in Aberdeen generally. I'd only stay here again if I couldn't get into anywhere else in the area. My one night stay was more than enough.

Room Tip: If you're someone who likes to sleep with the window open go for a room on the side away from the (busy) main road.

Check in was fast and answered all questions needed. Housekeeping were brilliant anytime I needed towels and the ladies were in the corridor they would great fully give me more essentials. The were always smiling especially the blonde one. She was very helpful during my stay when I asked her about near by facilities. I would defiantly stay here again and it is defiantly worth the price! Got a brilliant nights sleep in the bed that was provided. Room was warm and welcoming for arrival and everytime I had entered back in my room after housekeeping had serviced it. With a lidil, mcdonalds, carvery and bar all on site it's a brilliant location!
