“Central location / great accommodation”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 19 June 2014

Stayed for one night with my daughter - very central location - very close to city centre - lovely apartment - extremely clean - very helpful staff - only negative comment is it was a tad noisy - banging doors - and external noise which i accept is totally out with the control of the owners as the main noise disturbance was sea gulls
Totally recommended

Stayed here for a week on business, unfortunately, I will not be returning or recommend it to anyone else. The apartments are very clean, great location & helpful staff, however, the huge problem is the noise internally & externally. The doors within the block you can hear banging constantly day & night, you can also hear the doors if other apartments banging & the walks are paper thin. I never had a good nights sleep in the week I was there from these doors & also the noise from outside, which could be blocked out if double glazing had possibly been installed. If you are wanting a relaxing, quiet time this is not the place to stay.

We booked this at a very good price for a night out in Aberdeen. Apartments look great as they are very new, but are a little sparsely finished- maybe need another picture or two, and a few touches like a small waste paper bin in bathroom and bedroom. Bed linen and towels were nice and new. Convenient location in city centre.

We had booked a two bed, but got two one beds adjacent to each other instead, which was great except that with only one two seater sofa most of us had to sit on the floor! Another chair or even a couple of bean bags would be a practical addition, as well as making the sitting room look more finished.

Bedroom needed some sort of chest of drawers or dressing table and there was no mirror, although they do advertise that they have full length mirrors. The only mirror seemed to be a tiny one in the bathroom with no vanity/ shaving light so it was a little hard getting ready to go out! This mirror was also too high for me, I could only see the top half of my head!

Check in is very late at 3pm although they were happy to store our bags when we arrived earlier. Check out time of 10am is too early after a night out, although were allowed to stay later at no extra cost, so can't complain!

Others have mentioned the self closing doors which we also found irritating, but maybe we shouldn't have propped open the kitchen door when using the grill which set off the smoke alarm. Hope we didn't disturb other guests as the ceiling is very high and we had to waft the tea towel at the smoke alarm for ages to make it stop!

Check in member of staff was nice and friendly but doesn't seem to be there all the time, as we met other guests who didn't know what to do on arrival.

Only minor problem was that the apartments were stifling hot when we arrived, and again in tej morning although no heating was on, but we couldn't open any windows as they all seem to have been painted shut.

Will stay again if they can keep up the standard, and extend standard check out time!

Stayed here in April this year and found the apartment to be very nice. Rooms were spacious and had everything you needed. Our apartment wasn’t quite finished but this didn't really affect anything as it was only really decor that needed to be added. The only thing I found was that we had to use shoes to prop open the door from the living room and bedroom as they were too heavy to keep open by themselves, no big deal I just like to have doors open. Staff were helpful, and would stay here again.

The apartments were very centrally located at the top end of Union Street and were easy to access from the train station. They were beautifully furnished and clean and had very helpful and friendly staff.

Lovely 2 bedroomed fully furnished apartment with modern bathroom and kitchen and superb Sony TV in the lounge
The highlight for me was the luxurious bedding....so nice after a long day to get into an amazingly comfortable, warm bed.
Was only in Aberdeen for one night but could have stayed longer as the accommodation was such high quality

We stayed at the Hansen residence with my I laws and 7 month old baby. The staff could not have been more accommodation to us and our babe. They didn't have baby seats/baths when we got there so they went and bought brand new high end high chairs and tubs for us to use. I forgot my phone charger and the person at the desk let me borrow his for the 2 days. Just so so nice!
Now the actual stay .. The apartments are so clean and fresh, the beds are super comfy and the kitchen has everything you will need. The location honestly could not be any better. When u walk out the door you can look right down union street. There are bakeries (for amazing pies and pasties), restaurants bars and stores right in the square for everything u might need.
The apartments are brand new and kinda scantily decorated but give them another couple months and they will be beautiful! I would highly recommend this to any traveller needing the convenience of a kitchen and washer :-)
