We went on the MV Hjaltland twice ,both to and from Shetland.
We had an ordinary cabin on the way up which was fine except for the luke warm cafeteria food.
On the way back we had a premier cabin, what a difference, super smart cabin with tv and window so we could see the view.
This also entitled us to use of Magnus lounge with waiter service for hot evening meal.Breakfast was free and excellent. Also free tea/coffee in Magnus lounge. No question about it go premier.
Just to crown the holiday there was a group of Shetland fiddlers sitting in the lounge playing wonderful tunes for a couple of hours, not an organised concert ,just playing their fiddles...lovely
The journey up was average whilst the return was excellent.
