Tried here on Saturday night following a recommendation, the place was nearly empty, plenty choices on the menu, some dishes I’ve never seen before, the food was absolutely delicious, a bit more expensive than some Indians but worth every penny

I came here with my mum and we wanted a fast dinner for a moderate price. We were greeted warmly and seated. We choose a few side dishes; two takra daal, cauliflower bhaji, mixed vegetable curry with rice and naan. The food came quickly, beautifully displayed and was delicious! The daal was creamy and full of flavour, the cauliflower was crispy, cooked to perfection!! And the naan was soft and warm and a perfect compliment to the rest of the food. Even though we ordered side dishes the portions were much larger than we thought and for such a good price!
The service was attentive yet non- intrusive, I would recommend The Nawaabs to anyone coming to Aberdeen that can appreciate good Indian food :) I hope this restaurant succeeds in the future!

We visited Nawaabs recently for the first time in many years.
The place was so quiet, which was such as shame as there are a few Indian restaurants nearby which are mobbed on a Sat eve but not as good!
First of all the service was welcoming, friendly and attentive but not OTT.
Curry's were delicious, well presented and reasonably priced. We received free poppadoms and liqueurs which was a nice bonus.
Decent wine list too.
Definitely worth trying instead of your usual Indian, you WON'T be disappointed.

As this restaurant is under new management we wanted to see if this restaurant was still as good as the first time we visited. We were not disappointed on Friday evening. The staff were very attentive and polite. The meal itself was delicious, I would recommend the Bombay sweet chilli with chicken, very tasty! Very good value for money. We will definitely return to this restaurant again and would recommend to others to visit.
