I stayed here during a business visit. Bill was a character and his breakfast was great. I highly recommend a Smokie for breakfast, get your order in early and enjoy this unique dish. The location is perfect - right along the harbor.

This was our fourth visit to Harbour Nights and we were not disappointed at all!!

Bill & Sunita are excellent hosts and you are greeted with warmth every time!!

Bill cooks a fantastic breakfast and it really is 5 star.

The rooms are superb and rooms 2 & 3 are the best for views of the harbour!!

You can assure yourself of a really great nights sleep!

I would highly recommend this Guest House to anyone, so go on book a trip and enjoy the sights and sounds of Arbroath!!

You will not be disappointed with Harbour Nights or Arbroath!!

I cannot speak highly enough of this lovely Guest House!

All the best

Room Tip: Room 3 is the best room for a fantastic view of the harbour and passing ships.

I can't believe how large our room was here plus with a gorgeous ocean view. What a score! Hosts were very friendly and told us about Arbroath Abbey (go see!!). Don't forget to have a smokie. My husband loved them. Breakfast was very nice and super good.

The B&B was lovely, clean and tidy and the breakfast was very good (although it had to be pre-ordered the night before, at prescribed times reducing flexibility for us) and we were given a ticking off for being late despite 'phoning ahead to advise we were running late because of traffic!!
The chambermaid abruptly told us that check ou was at 11:00 am at 10:55 despite no one telling us. Her tone was the same as the ticking off we had for being late
If you want a lovely B&B in a lovely area, this is the one but expect to be treated like children if you don't behave.

Sorry to hear you were partially dissatisfied with our service on this occasion. We do our very best to be friendly and hospitable but on some occasion it is very difficult to meet the criteria of every single person/guest. We have a system on running our Guest House for the past 10 years and generally speaking it works for us and for the majority of our guests. We ask everyone for an estimated time of arrival give or take an hour, and to inform us of any delay’s etc. You called us after your expected arrival time to inform us you will be another 1 ½ - 2 hours late, even then it was only yourself that arrived your wife and 2 adult children would arrive after the party/get together that you were all attending, in essence there was no contact with your family until breakfast, which I am glad to hear you all enjoyed. But still decided to leave without a goodbye leaving key’s lying in the hall table, only after an afterthought you decided to come back to let my wife know you have left the keys in the hallway, She was also surprised on your cold attitude since she went out of her way to accommodate you and even reduced your bill by £20.00 after realising the family suite would be more suitable for you, in your enquiry you just asked for 2 double en-suite rooms. All establishments have a check out time, ours is clearly stated on our website and in the rooms, if a guest takes umbrage when they are reminded of the check out time surely that is no grounds for complaining. We do not pick and chose who we are hospitable to; we do our best for all our guests, had you requested an extended check out time I am sure we would have been accommodating. I would like to take this opportunity in thanking all our positive reviewers who have taken the time in praising our services, I fully understand it is very difficult to get guests to write good review’s but so easy for someone to criticise and give unjust negative reviews.

Stayed weekend of Feb 2013 with wife and friends. Excellent facilities in a very convenient location. The hotel is situated right in front of the Hrabour. The rooms were stunning. The best thing that stood out was the hospitality of the owners. The staff was was really friendly and knowledgable. The Breakfast was excellant and we were made to feel really special. The room facilities were as expected with an enormous 'King' size bed. The pillows were also most comfortable and I can say we both were well satisfied with the bedding, pillows and the bed! Tea & coffee choices in the room was very good and the air con/heating worked well and not noisy We will definitely be back there again next time and have no hesitation in recommending it.
The afternnon tea is excellent - it is often well booked so worth reseving.

Room Tip: Everything was excellant...try the honeymoon suite, its beautiful.
