I stayed her overnight on business and I really can't fault it. Lovely room, staff friendly and welcoming - exactly what you want after a day at work. Breakfast service was quick. Happy to make whatever you would like and served with a smile. A great stay.

I live local to here so its an easy option for me
Excellent choice of food from cafe and restaraunt is generally very good not quite five stars but better than average for the area
worth a try especially if your travelling on the a90

Had a lovely meal here on our way home last night. Nice atmosphere and decoration and very friendly staff who were attentive from start to finish. Food was all delicious and served quickly. what a rare treat to find somewhere very reasonably priced with food of that standard and the nicest staff we have been served by for a long time. Highly recommend :) might go back and stay over night sometime

Super, friendly little place. Good coffee and selection of cakes. And, for those (like me) with a more savoury tooth, a fine selection of sandwiches and hot food options. Sandwiches can be highly recommended, prepared to order and with good ingredients. Soup is also good, although only one option available at any time. After witnessing a continuing decline in standards in recent times at Peggy Scott’s next door, this place is a breath of fresh air. The café area itself is bijou and the coffee machines can seem a wee bit noisy at times. But it is still clean, fresh and comfortable. And (according to signs at least) you can also use the pub area in the next rooms.
