We took elderly relatives to Murton farm for coffee at the weekend. Everything was fine until I poured the coffee from the Caffeitre and the jug came out of the holder spilling boiling coffe all over the table. Staff were slow to respond & I had to help mop up the table myself. The holder turned out to be broken & altho we were given another one this could have had very serious consequences had any young children been at the table. I might add that altho staff apologised no discount eas taken from bill. We will not be returning.

The facilities for families with small children could not be better. However, if you want a latte, a cappuccino or anything other than filter coffee this is not the place. Also, there is no designated picnic area other than the car park.

Great breakfast and very reasonably priced with tops up of tea and coffee.

Have also been out for lunch and had excellent soup and pannini.

Staff are extremely pleasant and attentive. Not long to wait for freshly prepared food.

Will definately be returning and spreading the word about this place.

Freshly cooked and well presented food at a fair price. Whole place runs on wind power so it's very green. Friendly and helpful staff. Lots for children to do in the farm itself. Highly recommend the place.

We again go to this cafe frequently because we know we will never be disappointed whether it's only for a coffee or a snack lunch. As I have mentioned the baking is superb and sometimes difficult to decide which of their tempting tray bakes or cakes to choose.
Very good soups and specials of the day. Service is good with a pleasant staff.

Thank you once again for your lovely review. I'm so glad you love our baking, we bake fresh produce most days and all our students have training in the different baking processes
