Dropped in for dinner on the 25th April. It was still early evening and the restaurant was quiet.
We found a table and the staff took our drinks order and then our food order. The drinks arrived quickly and tasted great.
We took 3 soups, which were thick and very tasty. Our mains were Lasagna, Fish and Chips and a Curry. The starters arrived very quickly. The mains were served in good time after we had finished the soup. The Lasagna was truly home made. Definitely no mass catering, bung in the microwave here. The fish we had was breaded and, for the first time in a longtime, it was fresh fish and freshly breaded. So much better than cook from frozen that normally turns up. The curry was spiced just right and had lots of meat in it.
But overall it was the price that won us over. For the quality we have received the price was amazing. We have paid more for a lower quality meal in other places. Will visit again when in the area and urge the locals to try it out as it;s now a little gem.
