Called in with family for lunch. We had main courses with desserts. Service was quick and efficient and the waitress friendly. Price was good at £7.45 for two courses and this price is for anyone not just senior citizens! Our choice was ham salad with chips and fish, chips and peas. Ham was tasty, fish okay (processed I think), sticky toffee pudding and apple pie both with cream very nice. Good value for price. We have found Troopers to be popular and busy at lunch times. Have called in a few times recently and no complaints - will return again.

Rock hard beds with plastic protectors that make you perspire !! 70s style bathroom with dodgey mixer tap shower and a toilet that takes half an hour before you can flush it again. Poor breakfast - all for £74 a night - your having a laugh !!!!

Recently visited the Queens hotel for a few pints while out celebrating a friends birthday. the bar staff made us very welcome and provided the group with first class service.

Really enjoyed our supper here recently, great menu to choose from, pleasant service and very reasonable price. Totally recommend !
