The surroundings are lovely, very cosy with bundles of character and lots of little nooks and crannies. Varied menu, reasonably priced and tasted delicious. Friendly staff. Would highly recommend a visit.

Excellent ambience, log fires & decorations.
Group evening meal from Xmas menu-a cross section.
Excellent home-cooking style food, served promptly & hot. An excellent evening meal, enjoyed by all 26 participants.
Highly recommended.

My wife Diane and I booked as we know it will be busy this time of year for Xmas lunches and we were taken to the bar seats and the wonderful log fire there and the excellently decorated rooms etc for Christmas . Gemma , the excellent Manager attended to us at the table and took our orders and we chose the Christmas menu and I had the Melon and Mango instead of the leek etc soup and it was excellent and then we both had the Christmas Turkey and the turkey was so easy to eat . During out lunch we were welcomed too by Scott and Hope who too are very efficient and so friendly as they too made sure our lunch was correct in presentation and taste ,

Gemma is ideal for the job and runs the hotel in a very efficient way and is really enjoys the work she does with the customers who know her very well and only visit when she is on duty . Yes , Scott and Hope are very efficient and friendly as well and all three are a good team together as they know what to do .

Christmas lunch is always good at this catering establishment and as we left the bar area was getting busy but the restaurant was already busy .

The hotel is in the village of Glamis and just along from the Glamis Castle

Fantastic meal, friendly staff and with the fire on set for a lovely atmosphere.
One criticism, becks blue 275 bottle heavily marked up. £3.10 for non alcoholic lager??? Seriously, you can buy 6 for £3.50 in shops.
Please rethink your pricing on this.
