The house was very well equipped, and really clean and comfortable The scenery was lovely, there is plenty of places to visit, and in Campbelltown there is two supermarkets to get all supplies. Would recommend this place if you are wanting a quiet holiday.
This is around the 7th Time we have Stayed at the Farmhouse as a Family. Lynda and Terry are outstanding Hosts and always helpful and in hand their hospitality is Matched with the Breath Taking Beauty and Tranquility of this most peaceful place Trust me the Silence is "Deafening" the only other noise comes from our Annual Family ( 24 at last count ) Beach Bar B Que ! I even did a Paella! It's a place over the years our Family have put as almost a pilgrimage to Have your own Beach your Own Farmhouse in one of the most stunning Scottish Locations is normally only afforded to the Rich and Wealthy and Coming from Barnsley we certainly ain't that but Sir Paul Mcarntney wasn't Daft and we can see where he got his Lyrics for the Mull O Kyntyre from. I'm always reluctant to leave reviews because I'm fiercely Jealous of this Place and want to keep it all for Us, oh and Lynda and Terry of course. If you do decide to come ! Shhhhhhhhhh don't tell anyone else
Regards
Mick
When we booked with Terry and Lynda we were given the option of either the farmhouse or two of the eight caravans down nearer the beach; we chose the farmhouse option as we were not sure whether there would be six or eight divers with all the gear that entails. In the end we had six adults in our party and the farmhouse, which sleeps eight in four bedrooms, proved to be perfect for our needs, with a huge kitchen downstairs and a large lounge with tv, DVDs, two x 3 and one x 2 seater couches upstairs. There are lots of things for kids to do on a rainy day including an air hockey table, there are two bedrooms on the ground floor, the first is a lovely twin/double en-suite with a smaller bunkbed room next door, upstairs you have two double rooms, the larger of which I assume can be a double if required with a decent sized bathroom at the top of the stairs. The views from the upstairs out over Sanda are breath taking and on a clear night the lights of Larne in Northern Ireland are as clear as a bell. If, as we were, you are looking for a dive site that is relatively untouched this is the place to be, stunning soft corals, wrecks by the score and wildlife everywhere you look, and with your hosts wealth of local knowledge and expertise on all things scuba look no further for your next dive holiday, Terry and Lynda went way above and beyond to help us launching and recovering our rib from the sea, filling our tanks [£4], and even loaning us gear and giving us equipment to secure the boat on the trailer for our journey home after our winch broke on a really rough retrieval from the sea on our last day. A few days before we set off I contacted Lynda about what time the hotel in Southend stopped serving meals so we could be sure of a hot meal after our journey from Ayrshire. She duly responded that it should be fine as last food orders were at 19.45. We trotted off round to the hotel arriving at around 19.00 only to discover a table had been reserved for us and the very friendly staff were expecting our arrival, thumbs up all round. All in all, beautiful part of the country, lovely accommodation and the finest hosts with the daftest dog you could possibly ask for. One word of caution, if you can't live without your phone look elsewhere as you basically have to travel the ten or so miles to Campbeltown to get a good signal on any network. 12/10
The location of Pennyseorach Farm is the unique selling point and takes your breath away as you approach down the farm track. You are what feels like touching distance from Sanda island and the front windows face out onto a wonderful view of Sanda, Ailsa Craig, Dumfries coastline and Northern Ireland on a clear day. Perfect location for kids - safe environment with beach just 2 mins down the farm track and the possibility of walking along the beach to Southend (visit the Muneroy tearoom) or rockpooling in the other direction. Lynda & Terry were really helpful and welcoming - I'm usually reluctant to book self-catering when you are right next door to the owners but Lynda and Terry left us to our own devices and were there if we needed anything. Being on a working farm was exciting for the kids and exploring the local beaches was a big favourite.
The house itself is perfect for two families sharing a holiday home. We went with our friends (4 adults, 4 kids aged between 7 and 5) and there was plenty space. Upstairs 2 bedrooms, bathroom & lounge (air hockey table was a big bonus!) and downstairs, ensuite bedroom, twin room, huge dining kitchen. Lovely well-kept garden area which offered great views and good star-gazing at night. The house is not kitted out with ultra modern features and loads of expensive ornaments and vases so we felt relaxed enough to let the children make it their home for the week. It is cosy, clean and warm - I didn't need the jumpers I took with me for in the house. Beds really comfy and good selection of DVDs and games. Local amenities great - Co-op in Campbeltown really well-stocked and local butcher/fishmonger also very good. Great days out in Davaar island, Southend/Keil caves, Machrihanish beach, Mull of Kinytyre lighthouse. We will definitely be back - a week of fresh air and total relaxation was just what we needed!

We had a wonderful time in the Farm House , it must be in one of the best holiday locations in the area. We were a family group of 7 +dog and the accommodation was great . It was spacious and comfortable with great views of Sanda . Linda and Terry were excellent hosts ( the girls just loved the lamb !)

I would recommend this if you are looking for a relaxing few days by the sea in a farmhouse. Lots of room space and everything was very clean on our arrival. We have very gracious hosts that were there to answer any questions and give us a quick guide of the area. The views were so amazing!!
