On arrival we thought the house looked lovely and had great views of the loch and Cambletown.
The owner was welcoming. We were not in the main house but in the gardeners Cottage which we know was old but the rooms smelt very musty even with the windows open. The bathroom was very tired and the shower was just one connected to the taps which did not work very well.On the good side there was a kettle in the room and tea and coffee. The beds were really comfortable and there was a nice lounge in the main house which we could use.The Breakfasts were tasty. The Gardeners cottage was not for us, perhaps a room in the main house would have been different, very disappointing after the reviews we had read.
