Spent 4 lovely days in Campbeltown, still as scenic and peaceful as ever, people their usual friendly selves. Have stayed at various Hotels in the town over the years but The Grammar Lodge is far superior in every way and sensibly priced. Warm greeting by Kirsten and Wilie, room stylish, clean, quality bedding, nice fittings and well designed. Wonderful bathroom with bath and walk in shower. Nice touches with home baking in the room, breakfast outstanding, lots of variety to choose from, all freshly cooked.
We will staying here on future visits to the town.

Grammar Lodge is recently opened and it tells.... the rooms are recently completed (september-13 I think) and fantastic... As a result of the conversion from a school the bedrooms are huge spaces, great decor, wonderful bathrooms, lots of hot water/ fabulous showers and soft sheets & duvets/ towels... a 2 minute walk to the harbour yet in a quiet street in the town... Thoroughly recommend this place!

Room Tip: south side rooms have huge windows and loads of light.

Comfort is what comes to mind first, then novelty. Both of these combined with the friendly proprietors and good breakfasts made for a very enjoyable stay last week. If we go back to Campbeltown, we will definitely be staying at Grammar Lodge.

.......I loved the combination of the big round shower head in the ceiling and the normal flexible type - luxury. We loved the spacious room, the soft linens, the comfortable bed, the cleanliness, the style, the good finishes to the decor, the thick carpets, Sky TV (we don't have it at home), easy and free wifi, the big wide bed, the tall ceilings and tall windows........... the list is endless.

Booked for a golf visit to Campbeltown with friends and stayed here for a night. The welcome was great and the accommodation was first class. The breakfast kept us full for most of the day. Couldnt recommend Grammar Lodge highly enough.

Grammar Lodge is a sensitively adapted school with light, spacious rooms and very high quality fittings and furniture, including a wonderfully comfortable bed. The welcome from Kirsteen Ross is outstandingly warm, the service immensely helpful and the excellence extends to the comprehensive 'full Scottish' breakfast. The location is central but quiet though not scenic and Grammar Lodge offers every facility including wi-fi and extensive parking. We cannot imagine how the provision could be improved. We had wondered at the unanimity of previous ratings; now we know why. We rate it five stars only because there is no six star rating. A great experience - and that was before we visited the Springbank distillery!

Room Tip: We had a larger 'suite room' because only that was available but all rooms are of the same...

We stayed at Grammar Lodge for just 1 night around the beginning of June. The B&B is a former school and has been beautifully converted by William and Kirsteen. It has only been open a few months but it is run so professionally that it feels like it's a long established business. We had room 6 which was a nice size with a wet room bathroom, both were very clean and well appointed. Kirsteen's chocolate brownies in the room were delicious and breakfast was very good, William was an excellent waiter! Grammar Lodge is a lovely B&B and we would definitely stay there again. Highly recommended. We ate at the Taj Mahal, which was very good.
