A marvellous holiday break, in ideal accomodation with excellent service and value for money. Food extremely good; also one of the best homemade steak pies ever tasted!
Definitely noted for any future return visit.

With a nice location this hotel was excellent value for money.
We stayed in the bungalow annexe whichenabled considrable freedom.
The room was spotlessly clean on arrival and maintained throughout our 3 night stay. Food was good and served both punctually and hot. Doug provided attentive front of house service.
Free Wifi connection was any added bonus. We used the Macrahanish green fee discount voucher.
Would readily recommend this hotel.

Just returned home from a two night stay as part of a golf trip. Accommodation was very comfortable and clean. Breakfast and evening meal choice and quality was very good. Owner was very attentive and helpful without being overbearing. If visiting Campbeltown again would use again. Discount at Macrahanish was a real bonus as well.

Stayed at the Seafield for Two nights on Business and WHAT A REFRESHING CHANGE!
The Standards of Cleanliness and comfort are second to none, after 23 years of travelling on business this Hotel made such a welcome, pleasant change. At prices that match the run of the mill lodge this was outstanding in comparrison, wonderful welcome, shown to the room (unheard of in th Uk) and left to relax and unwind after the mamoth journey. I could not Fault my stay (outside Bungalow room) and I Thank them all for there hard work at making this small hotel work.
Highly recommended to all.

Recently stayed at the seafield due to being in Campbeltown on business, stayed for 5 nights in total and the owner Doug makes you feel very welcome.
Food was excellent all cooked by Dougs wife Saskia never had a bad meal and the service was great.
When i checked out i had left my front door key in my room by mistake and Doug contacted me to say he would pop it in the post.
Received the key two days later....
Cant ask for any more than that really...

A colleague and I stayed 3 nights whilst working in Campbeltown. Rooms were clean and comfortable, but what things made it special were the friendliness of the owner, Doug, and the cooking of his wife. The food was delicious, fresh, and reasonably priced. The dining and bar area were cosy and tastefull done. The atmosphere was homely and I felt at ease immediately. I hope to return for a leisure break.

Eddie Gemmell,
Paisley.

Stayed here for 3 nights on business with a colleague. It's in a good location and has 9 rooms in total. 3 are located inside the main house with an additional 6 in a "bungalow" style building to the rear.

Room I stayed in was a medium sized double room. Bed was comfortable and room had the usual amenities with tea/coffee making facilities with biscuits etc provided. Television has terrestrial only at present, with Channels 1 to 4 available (No 5 due to location). Bathroom was clean and stocked with glasses, a shower cap and a sewing kit. No bath in my room, just a shower which is pretty much my only niggle. At 6ft 3" tall I found it difficult to fit under the shower with ease and the cubicle was slightly cramped. Rooms were cleaned daily to a high standard.

The restaurant only serves food to residents as the family run it themselves and don't want to stretch too thin. The couple who own the hotel (Doug & Saskia) bought it a couple of years ago and changed from having hired staff to running it on their own. Doug runs front of house, Saskia runs the back of house and their oldest daughter helps with meal service. Food was excellent over the 3 nights without a single bad meal, portions were good and would happily return for another Highland Chicken! Cooked breakfasts were again tasty and well cooked, with a decent variety of options.

Service overall is excellent, Doug is a very friendly person who spends most of his time running the bar in the evening and chatting to his residents. The bar is small but well stocked and prices are reasonable. In addition to this, the hotel has Wifi available in the Bar and Restaurant area (Free of charge) which is a bonus when staying on business.

Overall I would happily stay at this hotel again, for business or pleasure although I would be interested to see what the rooms inside the main house are like. Both meals and room rates were very good value.
