The staff were very good, attentive, informative and friendly. The bar and lounge area are nice areas to relax in. The hotel is very dated in terms of decor, furniture and menu. The food tasted lovely but the restaurant music was not my cup of tea, bagpipes in an empty restaurant and the Emma Bunton Album, not a big issue, but it did make us want to get out ASAP. Rooms had all you need but were quite small, although we had special deal so likely to have worst room. I found the bed Extremely uncomfortable and didn't sleep at all, the springs were very prominent and at least a mattress topper would have really helped. Great location and I'm sure some other rooms would have great view.
