Went on a 2 hour pony trek along the coast and up into the mountains. Was a lovely day and a great way to get about the scenery. Very relaxing. Good for complete beginners but very slow for anyone with any experience.

We thank you for the positive review and are happy that you enjoyed the stunning views from the back of our well trained horses. Treks are not primarily designed for beginners and don't necessarily go at the walk. The speed of the trek is dictated by the weakest rider as evaluated during the initial assessment in the school.

Treks are designed for visitors looking to spend an hour or two riding through the glorious Argyll country side appreciating all it has offer. As you will have discovered on your trek the history and stories of the area are exciting and extensive.

For the speed junkies amongst you, we have several fast rides a week providing you are an accomplished rider over rough terrain. The various rides and tuition we offer are advertised on our sales brochures and websites and we have something for everyone at Argyll Adventure even the non-horsey folk. We look forward to your next visit and are happy to take you for a canter through the Argyll countryside.

Had never been riding before but had a great time as the trails and views make for a full experience. The staff are friendly and give you enough direction but don't molly coddle you which is great. Highly recommended.

We visited as a group of families and had a wonderful couple of hours. Everyone was incredibly friendly and very professional. As total beginners we felt totally relaxed in the care of the lovely guides and our youngest was even accomodated with a quick ride on an adorable Shetland pony. The lochside ride was just fantastic with spectacular scenery made even more special with the autumn colours.
The teens in our party loved the climbing wall and paintball target too, there was something for everyone.
We would highly recommend a visit!
