“Spabreak”
Reviewed 28 August 2014

2 day spa break - dinner, bed & breakfast plus 3 spa treatments - one of the best deals around. Can't fault anything - location, view, staff, food, treatments, service. Will definitely go back and highly recommend it.

Stayed in this hotel a couple of weekends ago. Couldn't have asked for more, the staff were lovely and very helpful, food was quite frankly fantastic and the rooms were more than you could ask for, very clean well presented. Great loaction with good views (albeit we didnt have a view of the loch). We also used the pool spa facilties which again were very good, Jacuzzi, Steam room and Sauna including an outdoor hot tub. I also had a treatment from the spa which was very good and very reasonably priced. Couldn't recommend this place more, we will be returning.

Room Tip: I would maybe request the new side if possible as i note previous reviews have said that the rooms w...

Decided to have a long weekend away to Kintyre and stayed in this little gem of a hotel for two nights. Perfect location with a beautiful view over Loch Fyne. Very reasonable price with the first evening dinner included. Good food, excellent service and spa facilities were wonderful. The hotel was busy that weekend and car parking was just adequate.

Rooms are ok and try to get top floor with an odd number and you will get a much better view, other side of the corridor looks down on staff and overflow car park. Food in restaurant is very good but overpriced though wine list is good and you can get a good bottle of wine for under £20. Stayed there on a great deal from Hotel Connexions at £170 per night for both wife and myself on a dinner, bed and breakfast basis that included 6 course gourmet taster menu. Not really 6 courses though as starter was amuse bouche served on a large teaspoon and soup course a demi tasse though very good and filling. As stated in title, great to use as a base and tour Mull of Kintyre or up Glencoe or Oban area.

We ended up at Loch Fyne as a last-minute booking, and we were delighted at lucking into such a gem. The location is delightful, looking out over of a gorgeous loch. There are even some tables set out on the lawn so guests can relax with a cocktail and take in the view.

The building has a lovely stone fascade and makes an impressive first impression. Booking so late we weren't able to get a loch view room, but our room was cute. It offered attractive Scottish decor and a comfortable if not vastly spacious double bed. Everything was clean and well tended.

Breakfast in the morning was a menu & continental combination and completely adequate.

We have stayed several times on the fantastic crerar hotel offers and have never been disappointed. The rooms are very cosy and comfortable. The pool area is relaxing and spa treatments very soothing . Food is fabulous with ample portions at all meal times very. The staff are very polite and the service provided is xcellent There are lovely sitting areas around the hotel also very cosy and comfortable for you to relax and enjoy your refreshments. The area of Inverarary itself is beautiful for long walks the Loch and the castle. You must also visit the Loch Fyne Oyster Bar and Tree shop near Cairndow a short drive from Inveraray the best and freshest seafood you will get anywhere ! We will certainly be back it is a favourite of ours now.
