The rooms are light and cheerful. We enjoyed great food at breakfast, all fresh and made to order. We were well guided by our host, and enjoyed the short walk to Inveraray shops and restaurants. We would gladly stay there again.

Lovely place, overlooking the beautiful Loch Fyne. Very friendly owners and a lovely welcome to the guest house. Great room, we stayed in Tiree which has great views over the loch. The owners suggested dining at the Indian restaurant, which was absolutely fantastic. All in all would definitely return.

Newton Hall is a converted church which has been done beautifully. It has charming, helpful owners. We stayed in Colonsay from which you can look over Loch Fyne through the angled skylight window. We woke to a mist view over the loch which slowly vanished as the sun burnt through. The road in front is fairly busy so if you wanted a quieter room you could have one not facing the loch; but you would not get the same view.
Inverary is an interesting small town which was purpose built a long time ago. The George does good evening meals and Inverary jail is a popular tourist attraction as is Inverary Castle, the home of the Duke of Argyll.
We would be more than happy to stay here again.

3 nights in a lovely room overlooking the Loch. Delicious breakfasts cooked and served by very friendly, helpful host and hostess. Easy stroll into centre of Inveraray and a good spot from which to explore the area.

Room Tip: Front rooms for views but back rooms larger and quieter.

Never disappointed, our fifth visit, the views from the breakfast room and rooms on the front are stunning, especially when the sun is rising, Bill and Janice are excellent hosts. A gem not to be missed. We are back again next year. Thank you for your excellent hospitatlity.

Room Tip: All rooms are superb, best room is IONA. Over looks the Loch

My wife and I spent 3 excellent nights at Newton Hall Guest House during July 2014. The accommodation is comfortable, clean and, depending upon which room you select, will have fantastic views across Loch Fyne to the Cowal Peninsula. The breakfasts, of which there is a good selection of hot and cold options, is excellent, and I can particularly recommend the Loch Fyne kippers. Bill and Janice are great hosts and will happily offer advice on which of the Mull of Kintyre sights you need to visit. This is a perfect base from which to explore this beautiful part of Scotland.
