Ordered 3 courses for £20 from a set menu of 3 options per course. The selection wasn't great but at such a low price it didn't matter too much - there was something for everyone.
The mussels for starter were delicious, there were loads of them and were serves in a garlic and coriander butter sauce. By far the best part of the meal. Sadly my main of roast beef was very dry and although the accompaniments were good, there's no excuse for overcooked miserable looking beef. Even with gravy I couldn't finish it. The puddings were nice and there was a good selection but the portion size was pretty small with a token gesture of cream.
Staff were friendly and happy to make recommendations.
I'd eat here again at the same price as it's very good value (and the wine list is well priced) but I wouldn't rush back.
