Went to the oban steak house with my wife, the outside on the restaurant looked outdated but inside was better (still could use some modenising) we were seated by a waitress that I found hard to understand as she wasn't scottish and mumbled as she wasn't even looking at us. Drinks were ordered straight away I found this very good and they were on the table in no time.
However we were sat for about 10-15mins waiting for the waitress to come take our order but saw her darting in and out the reception looking very lost and flustered. Finaly a young lad came to take our order and apologised greatly for the wait as they were having problems with the computers, this I found very friendly as he was meaningfully apologetic.
We ordered sirloin steak which the young lad brought to out table and yet apologised for the wait earlier again and said the meal would surtainly make up for it... Which I found very friendly and made me feel that he was trying the best to keep the restaurants reputation at top notch, he definitely done that so did the cooks... The steak was cooked to profection was very pleased! Through out enjoying our steaks we were asked if everything was okay and if we would like more drinks etc.
Overall very good food and really friendly staff (waiter, seemed like he was running the place on his own... Maybe the others were all out back trying to sort the computer sissue?) could do with some modernisation. Would recommend.
