“Great morning out”
Reviewed 2 June 2014

I have to say the people saying this sanctuary is over priced are being fairly harsh... ok its not London Aquarium but we are in the Highlands of Scotland!
Thoroughly enjoyed watching the seals being fed and found the training to whistles interesting. Wondered round the nature trail in the drizzle and had a lovely hot chocolate and slice of cake. Lovely friendly staff. I bought some gifts for my baby nephew in the shop- some beautifully illustrated children's books.
To finish we went and played on the adventure park, a little slippery but this added to the fun!
A great morning out. Thank you and keep up the good work for the seals.

Thank you very much for your lovely five star review and for taking the time to write it for us. We are really pleased to hear that you enjoyed your visit with us. Our seals really are fantastic so it’s great to hear that you got to see one of their feeding and training sessions. I’m sorry the weather wasn’t a bit better for you but at least you got to relax and warm up in our coffee shop. We really hope you will come back and visit us again and hopefully we will have better weather for you next time.

“Perfect Lunch Stop!”
Reviewed 1 June 2014

Stopped for lunch whilst cycling north as a 17 strong group of bikers on a charity event. The most delicous sandwiches were waiting and then gorgeous tray bakes! The staff were just wonderfully helpful and first class customer service. Loads of room and spotlessly clean and bright with superb views too. Thanks to all the team!

“Enjoyable day out”
Reviewed 1 June 2014

Went to visit with 3 small children who enjoyed it very much. This is a fairly small attraction and overpriced if you pay the full cost, we paid on line for a discount and there are various discount tickets available in Oban and surrounding area. The staff are very knowledgeable and the children can get very close to the exhibits and handle some with staff supervision. The café is fairly expensive, as with most attractions, but again the staff are very helpful. There is a small play area which would benefit from some upgrade as it is very tired now and when we went the ground was very boggy. I would recommend this attraction, but to return soon would be a little bit of a waste of money due to the size of the site.

Thank you very much for your review and we really appreciate you writing it for us. It is great to hear that you enjoyed your visit with us and that you took advantage of our online discount. Our staff are fantastic and we are so happy to hear that your children had fun and enjoyed meeting our rockpool creatures. The play area has taken a bit of a battering from the weather lately so we look forward to the summer when we can give it some tlc. We really hope that you and your family will visit us again

“Not bad”
Reviewed 26 May 2014 via mobile

A fair amount to do but very overpriced for the size of it compared to most other sealift centres we have been to. If we hadn't had a discount voucher this would have been overpriced (along with the stamping of our receipt giving free re admission within 7 days). The aquarium were adequately stocked but the otters underwater viewing in particular needs the Perspex or glass cleaning as it is not possible to see anything. I love sea life centres and the layout of this is perfectly sympathetic to its surrounding but it's not anywhere near the amount of specimens as seen in others. Still as always made for a nice break.

Thank you very much for your review and we really appreciate you taking the time to write it for us. Our apologies for the otter glass needing cleaned but this has already been resolved by our animal care team. We offer a huge amount of local and national discounts as well as our free seven day return and we feel that this represents great value for money. We do hope you will visit us again as our animal care team are constantly changing and updating the displays to bring new and exciting creatures to our visitors.
