We popped into the Scottish Sea Life Sanctuary one very wet day in August. It was late afternoon and quite busy which was a shame as we couldn't get near the otters (the one thing I really wanted to see!) The staff were knowledgeable and friendly. The seal display was charming! Plenty to see and lots to entertain the kids. While no Deep Sea world it is bigger than you could expect from Oban.

Thank you very much for your review and we are sorry that you didn’t get to see the otters during your visit. Our animal care team usually hang about after the talks to ensure everyone gets a chance to see these cheeky little characters. Maybe you can visit us again when it is a bit quieter or even take advantage of our free seven day return ticket to ensure you get to see the demonstrations you want. We really hope that you decide to do this.

This is a really nice place to spend a couple of hours, The talks at feeding times are informative and the place is very well kept. Some interesting exhibits and they are doing a really good job of looking after any abandoned seals.

Thank you very much for taking the time to write this lovely review. We really do appreciate it. It is great to hear that you enjoyed our talks and feeding demonstrations during your visit. These really are the best times to see our creatures. Looking after the seal pups is a huge amount of work for our guys but it really must be one of the most rewarding jobs out there. We really hope you will come back and visit us again soon.

Thank you very much for taking the time to write our review. We really do appreciate it. You were very lucky to see the seal pups as we get them in, feed them up and get them back home as quickly as we can. Although this is a lot of very hard work for the guys it is a truly rewarding job. The creatures in the rest of the Sanctuary are also fantastic and it is great to hear that they are also appreciated. We hope you will come back and visit us again soon.

Fascinating, if you get there at the right time, you see the otters and seals getting fed, we also got to see the seal pups which have only recently been rescued, this place does fantastic work.

Thank you very much for your lovely review and for taking the time to write it for us. It is great to hear that you managed to catch the otter and seal feeds during your visit as this really is the best time to experience them. Our seal pups, although a lot of hard work, are truly amazing and it is really rewarding to see them grow and return to the wild. We really hope you will visit us again soon.
