Our first visit to Oban and we stayed in the Ulva Villa for two nights. John was pleasant and informative upon our arrival, we were in the garden room which is outside and separate from the main house but this was good as we had more privacy.
Very small bathroom as previous reviewers have noted but it did the job, in the evenings the room was cool and especially the bathroom but with heater on and bathroom door open then it took the chill off.
Breakfasts were good and yes, the fruit plate was just brilliant. Highly recommend it. Mary who served us breakfast was a lovely lady.
Lovely to meet Martha and chat to her and John.
One point to mention though, there is no mat for wiping feet and if you are like us and take shoes off at front door then you possibly need to take slippers or socks with you if you are in the garden room as small stones are carried into the room from the graveled drive and hurt when stood on in barefeet!
Would stay there again and would ask for the garden room.More
