Excellent from start to finish.
Prior to arriving we received a fabulous pack of information resulting in us not having to go back and ask a single question - everything was included!
Rory met us on arrival and showed us around this fabulous cottage so close to Loch Melfort. It was extremely well furnished with great use of colours and fabrics and with attention to every detail. A welcome bottle of wine and goodies on arrival, thank you! Crosple Cottage is the best self catering cottage that we have ever rented (and we have booked quite a few over the years!) and have already booked to go back in 2018.
The surrounding area is yours to explore and Rory provided information on hikes from the cottage, so no need to take the car out!
During our stay we experienced quite a forceful storm and what a lovely touch that Rory called by the next day to ensure that all was well.
The upstairs was just as super as downstairs and the bed was so super comfy and snuggly that some mornings it was a chore to climb out and start the day!
A great bathroom with a stand alone bath and a separate shower and views to die for from sitting on the toilet!!
If you are planning a visit to this area then you really must experience the hospitality of Rory and of that Cropsle Cottage offers - you'd be daft not too!

“Romantic cottage”
Reviewed 4 December 2017 for a stay in December 2017

A beautiful romantic cottage in well maintained private grounds. The cottage Is in immaculate condition, with an open plan living area and well equipped kitchen. It has majestic views over the loch and we were able to see deer, pine marten and an eagle. The only thing that could be improved would be sign posted walks. However there are maps in the cottage and the owner has a great knowledge of the area.

“stunning location, beautiful cottage”
Reviewed 25 October 2017 for a stay in October 2017

The cottage perfectly suited all our needs. It had all we needed for a cosy retreat in the lovely house with a view across the loch, along with lots of information and equipment for exploring the incredible landscape of the surrounding highlands and islands. Idyllic.

“Fantastic cottage in a unique location”
Reviewed 24 October 2017 for a stay in September 2017

Had a great stay at Crosple cottage.
The (almost new) house is fully equipped and is set in an unique location, with sweeping views to the loch. Rory, the owner, was there on our arrival and made us feel very welcome. We'll definitely visit again.
