“Amazing spot”
Reviewed 23 March 2018 for a stay in March 2018

I have just left the cottage after spending a week there with my friend and dog. It is one of those places that you don't want to tell people about as its so good you want to keep it all to yourself but you can't be selfish as others should know about it.

The cottage location is fab, 5 mins walk into the town so close to restaurants/bars/supermarkets and shops.

Its also possible to walk out the front door and go for amazing hill walks without needing to get in car which is bliss.

The cottage itself is clean, tidy and big enough for 2 and a big Labrador.

It has all you will need for a stay and now TV was great for a wee relaxing evening after big walks!

Margot was very helpful when asked questions, gave good advice and quick to reply.

I loved my week, Peebles is a lovely town and Dale cottage was a gem.

I really hope to get the opportunity to return.

If you are considering it, just book it, you won't regret it.

“A lovely welcome to a delightful cottage”
Reviewed 9 March 2018 for a stay in March 2018

Dale Cottage in Peebles is perfectly located within walking distance of the town. The cottage is fully fitted and comfortable, and is a lovely place for a holiday break.
Margot made us feel so welcome, and we will certainly return.

“Cosy cottage”
Reviewed 31 January 2018 for a stay in January 2018

Lovely position and near High Street for local amenities, shops, pubs etc. Though didn't use the garden as chilly January but on a warm/hot day would be great to use. The cottage was perfect for our weekend visit and would certainly book again (if lucky enough to be available)

Cosy cottage, well refurbished in modern style. Very well equipped with very warm central heating. Were there 19/1/18 to 22/1/18 when it snowed a lot. Enjoyed the NOW t.v. and dvd player.Very comfortable bed, plenty of storage space. Lovely touch from the owner, a nice bottle of white wine, chocolate and shortbread. A very relaxing, chill out weekend. We were able to explore Peebles more on Saturday when it was sunny, great prize winning butchers/bakers on the main street. Will go again in better weather.

“Perfect place to stay”

The cottage is ideally situated close to the town centre and we succeeded in parking immediately outside on the road most days of our stay. The flat itself was clean, very nicely decorated with all the facilities you need and above all, given the time of year, very cosy. In addition the owner had left some treats which were a nice touch and much appreciated. I would thoroughly recommend staying here - very good value.

“Cosy warm and pretty cottage within walking distance of Peebles centre”
Reviewed 14 December 2017 for a stay in December 2017

This is a very nice one bedroom old stone cottage located in the Peebles conservation area about 10 minutes walk from the High Street.

The cottage is spotlessly clean, well equipped and warm and comfortable and Owner Margot very helpful and friendly. Wine and mince pies were appreciated.

Parking is on the street but wasnt a problem. Supermarket etc close by so all good. We would definitely visit again.
