Ambient, friendly, extremely helpful.
No problems concerning gluten-free...had the pickled pear and goats cheese to start....OMG! Divine! Followed up with the Big Veggie Tapas...OOFT! Where to start!! Flavours were so well-balanced it made THE most pleasurable dining experience :) Rounded off with the Caramel Shortcake Sundae..from the most impressively extensive dessert menu I have seen to date.
Wow!
I mean......WOW!

We had a snack lunch a few days ago, was impressed by the menu, the food was very well presented and tasted sublime, So much so we went for dinner this evening and found the evening menu extensive. We ordered the sirloin steaks, all we can say is WOW.

We found this hidden gem via the marvels of the internet - and I'm so glad we did! They managed to squeeze us in at the start of service as the evening was almost fully books. Now I know why.....!
They had an eclectic menu with plenty of choice for a vegetarian (me) and the other half, a confirmed carnivore.
I LOVED the falafel option, delicious fresh flavours and a beautifully put-together dish, accompanied by a wedge of potato wedges.
The other half had a steak cooked to perfection, served with tasty veg and and mashed potato in separate dishes.
My only criticism (if you could call it that) was that the portions were so generous we had no room for dessert - and i bet they'd have been just as amazing as the rest of the meal.

Meze sharing plate for our starters and La plancha & Local lamb leg steak for mains. We were so full we didnt have a sweet.
Meze platter and the La plancha are fantastic for anyone who wants to try a wee bit of something different, due to the number of items on the plate - I wasn't disappointed by a single thing.
It was a Tuesday night we visited and therefore it was pretty quiet in the restaurant, but it did mean the service was excellent.
