“Good fun pub for the older folk”
Reviewed 27 August 2013

This pub always seems to be packed full of people, it's probably because they always have live entertainment. Some nights a band, others karaoke maybe even a pipe band!

It is also a very cheap drink compared to some of the other pubs and bars nearby.

For that reason it can be a bit full of the 40+ age group. So if you are looking for a younger crowd then look elsewhere.

“Had fun”
Reviewed 28 July 2013

It was thursday, but it was full! We had a great time watching people singing karaoke, dancing, having fun. The staff was very friendly. We didn'e eat there, but we came for some drinks and their beer was delicious. If I'm in Dumfries again, I'll go to this pub for sure.

Reviewed 13 July 2013

I have never eaten here, however it is a great for a night out, very friendly staff and the pub is full of characters, it is busy most night with the singing, If you are in Dumfries and looking for a pint and a good laugh, then look no further

“Busiest place in Dumfries”
Reviewed 8 July 2013

Have been in here several times over the years. Last weekend visited with friends on golfing trip for a few beers. The town was deserted (9pm on a Friday night) but it seems that they were all in this pub! Karaoke in the back room seemed very popular (though not for me!) and the bar area was also busy. Did not get chance to sample the food at night.

If you are looking for atmosphere, this is the place to go. Open until 1am at weekend.

“Quality”
Reviewed 31 May 2013 via mobile

Best fried breakfasts in dumfries, order at the bar, get comfy at your seat, food arrives before you know it. One review stated the food may be microwaved, i can assure you that it is not, everything is made fresh when ordered. Also very good pints and the alan the manager is brill at draughting the perfecto pint!
