We visited this museum expecting a nice "local" collection. To our surprise the collection spanned the history of the region (fossils, stone tools, Roman and Celtic items, etc.), and contained quite an extensive collection of artifacts and memorabilia on several floors (including local birds and animals, and local manufactured goods from centuries past). It was a cloudy day so the "camera obscura" was not available, but we had an extended visit nevertheless.
