“Total waste of money”
Reviewed 21 April 2014 via mobile

The whole experience was awful. The road in is a disgrace it's a wonder we didn't wreck the car the animals were non existent.Plenty of peacocks!!!! And to be charged £ 26 for 3 adults and a child was a bit steep considering what was there or rather not there . Wouldn't recommend it at all

“An Unexpected delight”
Reviewed 3 April 2014

A lot of the reviews have mentioned that the road to the Park is really bad. It definitely is, so make sure you drive very slowly, but don't get put off from visiting, it really is worth it. There is a wide range of animals-meerkats, otters, wild cats, lynx, owls, wildcats and my favourite-a capybara, the largest rodent in the world- to name but a few. You keep on thinking that you have come to the end, but then there is another path in the woodland, leading to more animals. A truly charming attraction for both adults and children.

“Definitely worth a visit for happy animals !”
Reviewed 25 March 2014

We visited on a cold day in March when they'd just opened for the day and the animals had just been fed so were all out and seemed really well looked after and happy ! We were impressed with how many animals there were and the kids especially loved the lemurs and the display from the peacocks, got some great pictures. yes it is a little 'run down' but to us it looked like any money they had went straight to the animals, can you imagine how much it must cost to keep this place running ? If the person who left the review saying the grey wolf looked like it had been attacked had bothered to read the notices or ask he would have realised it had been ill and was under going treatment, again a large cost.

The owners are doing a great job keeping this place going and deserve our support, please remember your entry fee helps feed and look after these animals and replace enclosures, we will definitely go back next time we are in the area.

“Are These Animals In Good Health?”
Reviewed 22 February 2014 via mobile

The place is not good and all animals look stressed and in poor health. The owners are non existent and the place is lacking staff. The grey wolf looks like it's been attacked and the lynx looks unhealthy. I got the impression cruelty to animals was taking place. Road to venue is shocking and dangerous also. Avoid this place if easily upset by animal in poor conditions...

“Potential to be great but sadly looks in need of attention.”
Reviewed 6 February 2014 via mobile

We visit each year because the children love seeing the animals and I hope to find it in an upgraded state but not yet. The animals look well cared for but the whole place has an air of tiredness and almost defeat at up keep. After all that said, a visit is worthwhile, the park has interesting animals for children to experience and the more people visit the better equipped it will be.
