This is a chain rip off, for which there is no crime. Squint your eyes and you could be in a Costa, which was obviously the idea.
Have been loads of times, and the coffee itself is fine. Like a lot of these places, the food is priced crazily. Maybe it is just me, but the best part of two pounds for a slice of cake is ludicrous.
The view from the city square is okay, although the slabs outside could do with some water jet cleaning and the trees in boxes need attention.
My main concern inside is that it resembles the black hole of Calcutta, such is the lack of light in sections.
WiFi is fine, and the tables can be close but are passable.
Staff are good in here, and always friendly. However, they don't set the exorbitant food prices!
