Popped in to try the Spice restaurant as it has recently opened. The waiter was quiet with no chat at all - not very welcoming. The meal arrived in different stages - not all at once and finally after a wait my husband got a plate! The plates were warm, the curry was salty and my Tikka Kebabs were just flat peces of chicken with little colouring - no charring as is usual. The naan was good but some of it was undercooked and inedible.
We finally asked for a bill and after a while had to go and ask again for it. The place was not busy but maybe the above says why.
One other point is that the hotel is using an old trip advisor certificate in the foyer from the previous owners which ran the hotel very well.More
