Visited with a Groupon voucher given as a xmas present. Only problem we had was trying to book but we later found out that they were experiencing a high volume of calls/ e mails due to the fact they had sold so many deals.
From the moment we arrived the girl Suzanne behind the bar and working the Restaurant couldn’t have been any more accommodating, our food in the Restaurant was superb, our room was lovely and when sat in the bar after dinner met a lovely couple with which later on had a lovely chat with the owner. The owner Mike took time to chat with us telling us the history of how him and his partner aspired to creating his hotel group which as a Hotelier I found most interesting, a lovely chap who deserves to be where he is today. A lovely Hotel in a beautiful location, perfect for a relaxing break

Traditional hotel in the Perthshire countryside. The bedroom was adequate, but a winter duvet and plumper pillows would have been nice. The bathroom was a good size although the shower was weak. The choice for breakfast was good (gluten free option too), the quality was very good too. Nice dining room, bright and spacious. Disabled-friendly due to a large ramp at the front entrance. Must mention Zuzanna who was exceptionally friendly, polite and professional.

Part of a group of twelve who arrived for a pre-arranged lunch: the two courses were served very efficiently; piping hot, lots of it and very tasty. The sticky toffe pudding was excellent and the sauce exquisite - could have had two courses of that alone.

called here with a group for a pre-booked breakfast , food had been obviously standing for some time ( we were not late ) ie. dry and soggy !
None of our group ate more than about 30% of the food , many much less.
The organiser from our group approached the staff about the poor standard and the reply was negative acknowledging the issue or even offering a token discount or apology.
Needless to say none of us will be returning.

Don't be fooled by the enticing description of a "haggis and black pudding tower" basically a slice of each with a slice of apple between! TOWER?. Ask for "Steak cut chips" which the kitchen forget completely then issue skinny fries. Bit of a puzzle really.
